What Is Pilates?
The Pilates method is a form of exercise that was developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s. The main focus of Pilates is to reinforce the importance of mind to control all body movements, ensuring the correct muscles are involved in each movement. Pilates targets the core postural muscles that give support to the spine, to help bring the body back to balance.
