I came to Relinque Sports & Spinal Group for a specific problem which they rectified over a four week treatment process. I now maintain regular visits and fly regularly from Sydney to see them. F. Findlay, NSW
After the first two treatments a lot of the pain had gone from my neck, shoulders and head. After the following session most of the pain had gone and felt much more energised. Since the treatment my life has completely changed. I have much more energy, and no more pain. J McDonald Perth, Western Australia
Difference between Osteopathy, Chiropractic, and Physiotherapy?
To begin with, each of these professions have unique and very successful back grounds. However, over the years the lines between them have become quite blurred. Some Osteopaths will treat similarly to Chiropractors, and Chiropractors like Physiotherapists and visa versa.
Osteopaths assess and diagnose the underlying cause of your problem, and not simply just treat your symptoms. Osteopathy treatment revolves around a core belief that if one part of the body is restricted, then the rest of the body must adapt and compensate. It is essential to look at the “whole body” during an assessment, and not just the areas of pain.
When effective biomechanics are restored through Osteopathy treatment, your body becomes free to release all tension, giving you decreased pain, increased energy, and a better quality of life. Osteopaths maintains there must be a harmonious balance between the body, mind and spirit to return towards health.
Osteopathy treatment incorporates a number of different techniques including massage, myofascial release, stretching and manipulation depending on your requirements for the session.
