Mat Pilates Classes Ivanhoe

Are you looking for a fun, group exercise class that will strengthen your core, tone your hips thighs and tummy, and improve your general fitness? Relinque Sports & Spinal Group has mat pilates classes in Ivanhoe that use small props and equipment, and are suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to individuals who are experienced in Pilates.

Classes run within the school term, and progress in difficulty over the 8 - 11 week period. Each class runs for an hour and there is a maximum of 8 students per class. Classes are ideal for a general workout to tone your muscles, improve your posture, and boost your energy levels.

Beginners Classes: perfect for those that have no previous Pilates experience. These classes will provide a good introduction to basic core muscle activation and strengthening exercises. Beginner classes are also ideal for experienced clients who would like to refresh these skills.

Beginner One Classes: a slightly more challenging group session ideal for individuals who have completed at least one term of Pilates recently and have good control and ability to contract their core muscles. Starts off by refreshing the basics before increasing in difficulty.

Intermediate Classes: a more advanced and challenging class appropriate for individuals who have good control and strength in the core muscles and who have previously completed at least 2 terms of mat classes.

Intermediate One Classes: more advanced classes that build on the challenge of the Intermediate classes. For those that are working toward mastering the more advanced Pilates exercises.

Master Class: an advanced class for those students comfortable with our Intermediate 1 level. To participate in this class students must be selected by one of our instructors and display a high level of skill with all exercises performed.

Tummy Toners: one hour Pilates mat class aimed at toning the stomach, hips and thighs, strengthening the core, improving spinal movement, posture and flexibility. Great for all levels of strength and abilities.
